Coal

Coal is widely used as a fuel for electricity generation and for industrial processes like steel production, cement manufacturing and heating.

Black or blackish-brown in colour with a brittle texture, Coal is composed primarily of carbon. The different types of coal such as Anthracite, Bituminous, Sub-bituminous and Lignite are determined by their energy content and combustion properties.

The BitCoal Group has exclusive marketing rights to chosen coal mines in South Africa. So you can be assured of consistent quality and also supply chain efficiencies. We source the right quality of coal and then use the best Washing facilities to process coal so that it meets your specific needs for Net Calorific Value (NCV) and Ash content.

We can deliver coal with a Net Calorific Value ranging from as low as 4,000 to as high as 6,500, with Ash content between 12 and 40%.

Iron Ore

Iron is a critical ingredient for the iron and steel production industries around the world.

It is extracted in rock form from the earth’s crust. The amount of iron that can be extracted from the rock determines the quality of Iron Ore. Typically, anything over 60% concentration is considered to be of high grade.

The BitCoal Group sources high-quality Iron Ore from carefully selected mines in South Africa and can transport the ore to your destination over land and across seas.

Limestone - Coming Soon

Limestone is the most abundant sedimentary rock in the world and is mainly composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). It is formed through a process called sedimentation which occurs over millions of years.

Due to its strength and durability, Limestone is used extensively in the construction, lime production and fertilizer industries.

BitCoal is currently in the process of finalizing agreements with reputed Limestone mines for marketing the mineral worldwide.

Graphite - Coming Soon

Graphite is a naturally and abundantly available mineral composed of Carbon atoms. It is mined from both open-pit and underground mines. After extraction, it is processed to purify and concentrate the graphite content. It is widely used in the manufacture of Lithium batteries, crucibles, lubricants, pencils and more.

The BitCoal Group plans to soon source Graphite from Mozambique and deliver it in the desired particle size and purity that you need. Our global presence will enable us to deliver Graphite anywhere in the world.
